ARTIST BIO John DeBortoli's Biography John is a composer/songwriter and vocalist affiliated with BMI Publishing. John says "In 1986, after the tragic space shuttle loss, I was inspired to write my first copy written song “America’s Challenge” and collaborated with songwriter Joe Carrier, who is a well known arranger and composer with many credits in the music industry. I shared “America’s Challenge” with our past President, Ronald Reagan!" Regan showed his appreciation for this emotional ballad by writing a thank you letter to John directly! Since then, John has collaborated with fellow composers, Joe Carrier and Rick Britto, on numerous songs. John's songs are mostly in the popular genre of music. The well-known music library company, Crucial Music, contracted two of John's songs," I'm A Boy Watcher" and "Trip Around The World" for debut on the TV reality show "High Society in 2009. Both songs were written and produced by John and Joe Carrier and sung by female vocalist, Wendy Drown. Currently “I'm A Boy Watcher” has been picked up by TC Music and sung by one of their new aspiring artist, Tatiana Owens”. “I'm A Boy Watcher” has also been played on the well-known MTV network show “The Hills”. Most recently “I'm A Boy Watcher” has again been used by MTV on one of its most well-known TV shows “The A List”!
