[p][b]PlayAce [/b]was formed in the late 90’s by two brothers Matt & Dan. Writing music for TV & Film for several years PlayAce has credits for many TV channels across the globe, Including TV Channels; BBC one, BBC Two, Channel 4, S4C, BBC 2W, ITV, RTE2, BBC Worldwide& Telejournal.[/p] [p]Being DJ’s and staying true to their beliefs and love of live performance, PlayAce changed their focus to live sets and producing dance music. The boys were spotted by S4C’s Session Hwyr, a Welsh music program and performed 3 times on the show from 1999 – 2001.[/p] [p]Following the success & raised profile PlayAce entered a track into the ‘Lynx White Label completion’ Judged by ‘DJ Tall Paul’. PlayAce’s tracks made into the top 10 ahead of 1000’s of entries & were praised by record label ‘Plastic Fantastic Recordings’.[/p] [p]Matt entered the ‘Muzik Mag’ Bedroom Bedlam Competition & DJed live in front of hundreds of people @ Middlesex University’s Summer Ball, Trent Park in London in 1999. He came joint first further acknowledging his skills of entertaining a crowd with his DJ skills.[/p] [p]PlayAce went on to produce & work with several DJ’s/singers/record labels including; Blu Peter, Mrs Wood, Jocelyn Brown, Lenny Fontana, Byron Stingily & Hipster. PlayAce’s first release was a remix of ‘Lenny Fontana & Byron Stingily’s’ – ‘Light My Fire’ which received amazing reviews and landed the boys countless DJ gigs.[/p] [p]PlayAce played live at the Welsh Dance Music Awards in 2002 & resulted in becoming runners up in the category “Best new single” with their track, “Deeper” featuring singer “Tanya Walker”. [/p] [p]Present date – 2006 BBC Radio One feature “Soft Fury” a new PlayAce track on ‘Rob Da Banks’ show causing a storm with A&R men from EMI. 2007 ‘Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio One UK plays “Clear” another new track from PlayAce continuing the interest in the Duo.[/p] [p]So why are you hearing about all this . . . . . . ?[/p] [p]With such a catalogue of tracks and a truck load of talent PlayAce are still unsigned. Playing live countless times, rocking any party and always putting a smile, relaxed look or helping the sooth the soul with their lush sound, it is a crime to see PlayAce still unsigned.[/p] Matt is a fully certified Drummer, SAE engineer, keyboard playing & synthesis freak with thousand & thousands of hours of song writing & production experience. Having DJed the globe he knows what makes people want to party . . . . . . . Dan is a Violinist, turntablelist, beat freak with an appetite to experiment with the most warped sounds known to man . . . . . .
