HERITAGE ROAD is a band that reunites the talents of three men who have traveled many miles together. All three men are former members of the band, MidSouth and have a long history in Christian music. The band is made up of Bobby Bowen, Kent Humphrey and Jason Humphrey. Bobby Bowen joined The MidSouth Boys in 1982 and was a member of that group for the next 16 years. Bobby was the lead vocalist on such songs as "Sin Met Grace", "Down By The Tabernacle", and "Give What It Takes", just to name a few. Bobby sings lead and harmony vocals and plays bass guitar with HERITAGE ROAD. He lives in Greenbrier, Tennessee with his wife, Becky and their four children. Kent Humphrey started his career in Gospel music as lead singer for the group, The Dixie Melody Boys in 1981. In 1991, he also joined the band, MidSouth and was lead vocalist on such songs as "You Were At The End Of Every Road", "We'll Go To The Well", and "Without You I haven't Got A Prayer". Kent sings lead and harmony vocals and plays acoustic guitar with HERITAGE ROAD. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, Marie and their two children. Jason Humphrey first went on the road as drummer for Jeff & Sheri Easter in 1993. He also joined the band MidSouth in 1994 as a percussionist. Jason is the drummer for the band, HERITAGE ROAD. He lives in Scottsville, Kentucky with his wife Jessica and their two children.
