During his highschool years, Andrew focused his attention on music, multimedia and graphic web content creation. Years after graduation, he continues to focus on the same things he developed a strong passion for in his childhood - Multimedia Production and Cultural Promotion. Almost exactly one year ago, after many encouraging suggestions from other proffesionals in his field, Andrew decided to centralize his talents under one name - Collateral Jammage Productions. This was the beggining of a new powerhouse project to level the playing field between the overexposed and underexposed musicians and entertainers abroad. With the enthusiastic use of modern technology, software, and the internet, Andrew quickly realised that the distribution side of the entertainment industry was changing dramatically, and that it was being moulded into an oportunity for independent arts to flourish without the costly, hand held and overly competative corporate model of marketing. "I tend to focus on creating a positive message and vibe, one that uplifts the spirit, and leaves you with something to think about...When the goal of music becomes nothing but competition and ego, it's not music anymore - it's just noise." - Andrew Harvey In recent months, Andrew has been working hard to put all the peices together to get CJP off the ground and into the airways. In combonation with the creation of his official website, Andrew has partnered up with many social networks and music promotion based websites like [link="http://www.reverbnation.com"]Reverb Nation[/link], [link="http://www.myspace.com"]Myspace[/link] and [link="http://www.greatertrail.com"]GreaterTrail[/link] to help all the amazing talents out there learn how to market and promote their work online. "Nowadays (with new tecknology and software) it's more about creativity than costs really..." say's mid day announcer, Brad Moore, when interviewing Andrew on his show "Made in the Kootenays" on All hit KBS. "The cost nowadays isn't so much placed on producing the music..." (because anyone with the right knowladge base and resources can record an album in thier own home)"And so now the only real cost is getting the music out there." With this in mind, it is becoming more and more versatile on the internet for people to promote themselves just as well, if not better, with online resources as opposed to traditional media (TV, Radio, Newspaper) "And that's what Collateral Jammage is all about" So please come check out some of the links that we have provided on this profile to learn about how we, the independent entertainers, can take back our conrol over the industry in a way that can allow ALL OF US to make a living, and feel appreciated for what we do - whether that be music, photography, film making or even fire spinning.
