Brian Robinson was born Aug. 04, and was raised in Lower Florence County in the small community of Coward in rural South Carolina. He attended public school in Lake City, S.C. During his years of education he was a member of the school choir. During this time he honed his vocal talents. The South Carolina Honors Choir recognized him for his abilities. Growing up in the church, he found himself singing and playing piano. As He grew, his musical talent also grew. Although he had no formal training he learned to play to many musical instruments to included guitar, percussions and keyboards. Shortly after high school, at the age of 17 he started his own band, which played for local events and special occasions. He began to try his hand at song writing at this stage of his musical development. During this time he also discovered that music was his passion. And performing in front of a live audience was his greatest thrill. He was electrified by the energy of the crowd. He realized at this time this was his desired career and what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Although he enjoys all genres of music, Country music is his true music of choice. He considers Merle Haggard, Delbert McClinton, Travis Tritt and Keith Whitley as some of his strongest musical influences. During the tragedy of 9/11, one of the songs that he, with the help of his good friend and fellow band mate ( Doby ), had written “Ground Zero” received airplay on a local syndicated station. He has traveled to Nashville on several occasions to record some of his works and to network with other musicians and record industry insiders. Also this has afforded him the opportunity to meet and work with some of the top songwriters in the industries. Currently he is lead singer of a very popular local band called “Crow Jayne”. That plays many events around the state of S.C. He looks forward to continuing his career in music. To entertain his listeners and to become the best writer and singer that he can.
