Born in Liberia west Africa, Varney Kanneh Liberia\'s famous Musical artist started his musical career at the National Cultural Center of the Republic of Liberia(Kendejah).Where he served as the lead vocalist for the Kendejah Al-stars Band for four years 1983 to 1987. After serving as the opening act for the reggae sun splash 1988, in that same year Varney decided to travel to the Ivory Coast where he worked closely with Ismael Isaac & the Kieta brothers. Varney Kanneh along with Ismael Isaac & the Kieta brothers opened the show of the 60th anniversary of the human right organization Amnesty International 1988. With Bruce Spring-stein, Tracy Chapman, Johnny Clegg,and his Savuka band from South Africa, and many great artists at the Houphouy Boigny sports complex in Abidjan, La cote D\'Ivoire. While in Cote D\'Ivoire, Mr. Kanneh did also worked with some Ivorian Stars like Wabbi Spider, Alpha Blondy, Aicha Konneh, The late Mamadou Doumbuyan, Francois Lugar, George Benson, Mohamed Haidara, Frugience Cassie,Bureda, etc. Mr. Kanneh did his debut album \"Ngela-Loi\", which was a sucess. In 1989 October Kanneh traveled to the U.S.A for business. while in the U S, civil war broke out in Liberia his home country. And since then Mr. Kanneh have worked tirelessly to release four CD and also organized the African Dance Orchestra. Now Varney Kanneh is working on his fifth CD entitle \"Be Glorify\".
