Don has set his goals to achieving success in the music business along with best friend Terence Maclin Jr. aka "TugMack". They both collaborated on their various Hiphop styles and decided to start the duo group "HoodNoize".
Both of these brothas were born and have grew up in the inner city of Milwaukee, trying to dodge drugs, violence and negativity. Don is the middle of 3 children by the late Corine Braden (Also was raised by his Aunt Joellen Sprewell-His Mom's died when he was three). Having a deep passion for Hiphop, he started admiring Old School groups like "Sugar Hill Gang", Kurtis Blow", Run DMC" and many more. At the same time, his love for music was parelled with playing the keyboard. As he got older, he started trying to make his mark as a young rapper in Milwaukee, performing at such places like The "Martin Luther King Center", "The Villard Theater", "Mecca Arena", his middle school "Malcome X Academy - formerly Robert Fulton", block parties, picnics and many other locations.
But as a teenager growing up on the Northside of Milwaukee, things weren't always pleasant. Don came from a family that didn't have much money and living poor was not what he had in mind. And with friends he knew that already were living the fast life and getting quick & easy money, street life started to take it's toll. In 1990, Don got caught up in the street life and did almost 10yrs. in a Federal Penitentiary for armed robbery and gun possession (He was only 19 when he got busted). After his release, his mind was made up to eradicate crime-life and develop positive traits and instill High-Quality characteristics within his life using his natural-born talents that he's been blessed with.
Seeing the artistic talents and potential of his best friend Terence, he quickly pulled him into the studio and offered him a career opportunity to shine and maybe even help other young, developing artists go for their dreams.
With many projects and collaborations on it's way for "HoodNoize" and Nu Ride Productions, 2008 and beyond is destine, in Don's eyesight, to be the time to shine.
