What is your never ending struggle to overcome? All of us have one. In the case of Indianapolis based artist Nesto, its finding a way to create a buzz in a place that often times forgets about its local music and follows the national trends. Nesto is an acronym for Never Ending Struggle To Overcome. The inspiration for this name came from a song of his by the name of ‚Ä--Trials and Tribulations‚ÄĚ. Coming from a poor family and making a name for himself is what drives Nesto to become the first artist to break onto the music scene in a big way from Indianapolis. As a youth Nesto found that he had a love for music. All music. He began making beats at the age of 10 on a simple drum machine that he received as his only Christmas gift. As simple as these productions were Nesto found them inspiring and began to write lyrics to them. Time passed and Nesto‚Ä--s love of music progressed. His uncle sent him a 4 track mixer and thus began the recording part of Nesto‚Ä--s career. Determined not to be just another underground MC Nesto saw a bigger vision for his music and started to build his own studio. Now that simple studio is on par with any independent studio in the United States. Nesto owns Unchained Records Studio and uses his studio to encourage underprivileged youth to stay in school. He provides them with free studio time in exchange for completing school with passing grades. Recently Nesto has opened up for Yo Gotti and Boosie. He also has done shows of his own in Detroit, St. Louis, and several in Indianapolis. Currently he is setting up his Crunch Time Tour due to start in November 2007. This is a Midwest tour stopping in Memphis, Cincinnati, Detroit, St. Louis, and Chicago. Of course it will start off in the forgotten city of Indianapolis. At the age of 20 Nesto has completed 2 albums. Hotter Than Hot sold over 500 copies last year. It was in all the mom and pop stores in Detroit and Indianapolis. Also in major stores such as Karma. On April 24th Nesto‚Ä--s sophomore album Riding With Royalty will hit store shelves and neighborhood corner stores. Myspace has been a great marketing tool for Nesto. He has gained a wide fan base ranging from Russia to China and back to the United States in Alaska. Nesto will surely enough become a name that is mentioned when you think of the great business minds to conquer the music industry. His goals are set high with no option of loosing. His NEVER ENDING STRUGGLE TO OVERCOME drives him to make it all the way to the top of the charts.
