Milk Money Bio Born in Toronto in 1981, Milk Money grew up during the rise of rap music. Preceeded by a long line of musically talented Scottish relations, as a child he showed a strong interest in music as well as a passion and natural knack for poetry. Growing up in a single parent home, with an older brother who is also an aspiring musician, he wrote his first rap song at 14 and soon thereafter became Milk Money. Making his first stage appearances at jungle parties and local underground hip-hop shows he soon branched off to performing throughout Ontario (Dundas Square, Toronto, Dream Night Club, Toronto, Elements Night Club, Kitchener, Waterloo and had a gig overseas in Edinburgh, Scotland). Milk Money also placed in the top ten at Flow 93.5’s annual soul search. Working with his long time producer and good friend Boris Segal, the two managed to release a self titled independent solo album in 2006. Expect the release of his next album “Fate and Destiny” in 2007. From the “tell’em like it is” attitude in his lyrics, to the constant conscious intelligence that melts into the melodic beats, Milk Money is definitely on the verge of becoming a success.
