Welcome to my showcase.
Some of this new batch of songs is just me playing all the instruments and singing all the parts. These songs are a mix of my band Elijah from 10 years ago and later the Elijah Project from 2007.
I've been a praise and worship leader for the last 12 years and I'm also a producer/singer/songwriter. I have a recording studio in my home on my horse ranch in north Georgia. I play guitar and a few other instruments. I started playing when I was young and never stopped. I've had bands through the years and travelled alot.
Now all my music is for Jesus Christ. I'm a warrior for his kingdom of heaven and I daily do battle for lost souls in this confused and dying world we live in.
I used to write music for the popular culture, and I had rock bands, pop bands, r&b and jazz/rock bands and I've played with some of the best musicians in Cincinnati, Boston, New York City and Miami, but when I came to really know Jesus Christ everything changed forever. Now my music is to praise and worship him and to encourage my christian brothers and sisters to boldly approach the throne of grace and mercy.
Music is the battleground where the warfare goes on between the forces of good and evil. The kingdom of heaven is not of this world, so when people get saved they must come out of their worldly lifestyle. This is the hardest struggle most people will ever face in this life. Changing from being a worldly person to a spiritual follower of Jesus Christ. The music we listen to programs our thinking and determines our attitudes and what we believe in.
God needs each of us to do our part in reaching out to others with the " good news " about Jesus Christ. All we have to do is care about people and spend some time hanging out with them so they can see the kind of person we are, and see God's spirit working through us.
Actions speak louder than words, so for me, my music is the way that I can best reach out to people. I hope that as you give my songs a listen, they will bless you in some way and you'll see a little bit of Jesus in what I'm doing.
