Afrogroove artist Mad Ice has rapidly become a phenomenon in European music performance scene with his magical voice and soulful but extremely entertaining performances. This is not however a suprise to those who knew his talent already from those years he became a superstar in East Africa.

Mad Ice started his career way back in 1998 by performing ragamuffin in various talent shows. Whilst earning a living singing cover music in hotels, he started composing his own songs. “2002 came with a different feeling, all I wanted was to have my own composition out. My dream came true when we released my first song to radio stations and it made an impact”. “Wanadamu” paved the way for a successful career.

With his major hitsongs such as ”Baby Gal”, and "Wange" Mad Ice has stayed on top of the charts in East Africa months on end and has released two albums also in Europe 2005 (Mad Ice) and 2007 (Maneno) introducing to the world Mad Ice and his music. Mad Ice can now be found on several European playlists in France, Germany, Poland, Austria, US etc. (Wange featured 5 on top30 Chart Nov2007 on Radio Laser France) and his video of the Afrogroove Single "Malaika" became highly appreciated on different Music Tv Charts in South and Eastern Africa (2 Channel O Countdown Charts Essential Selection Oct 2007 among others).

Mad Ice and his finnish band are performing regulary all over the world for the old and new lovers of his unique groove mix of western poprock, soul and afrocaribean tunes.
