Liza is a 17 year-old singer/songwriter that started writing music at the age of 12.
She is completely self-taught and started learning to play the guitar at the age of 8. She started by learning simple chords and short melodies with the "guitar group" while she was in grade 3. However, after a a couple of years, she decided to quit the group and approach her guitar learning by herself.
She figured out how to read tab at the age of 12 and formed her very first band (called "Halo 79") where she was the lead guitarist. After a few months, the band broke up and Liza decided to pursue her musical adventures on her own. After that, she continued to perform solo at local events/venues with rare occasions where she was accompanied by someone else.
A few years later she learned how to play bass guitar, basic piano and extremely basic accordion and drums. (All of these instruments she recorded herself in her compositions)
At the age of 16, she finally started to take her first proper lessons in classical guitar and has continued to learn ever since.
All recording and mixing is done on her own at her home recording studio.
