My dad bought me my first acoustic guitar when I was 12 year old. That guitar was given away to pay a debt but after some months I was presented with a second-hand Hofner 172 solid body guitar. I saw a guitar as being more glam' than the Cornet I was playing at that time! Spent years strumming open chords without getting anywhere. Played guitar on and off over the years while writing. Ended up going into engineering but hankered to write my own material.
Then, one day, as an oldie, I decided to release some of my emotions by writing lots of them down and accompanying them with music. So, there it is, I prefer writing to performing and I could happily spend the rest of my days being creative if my daily life didn't get in the way. For the nerdy types (like me) nearly everything is recorded using an old laptop (I'm a latency junkie LOL) with the M-Audio Session application, a 49-key M-Audio keyboard, some mikes and two guitars. Most recording is done in my bedroom, but a home studio is on the cards soon.
I hope you enjoy my songs - some are fantasy and some are autobiographical - you decide!
