Hey! I'm Katie! I'm 20 years old! I've been singing since the day I could talk but I've been taking classical voice lessons for 7 years. I am now currently attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and I'm having the time of my life! All my classes revolve around music, and I couldn't as for anything more.
I've been very involved in acting and musical theater from a young age and I've been dancing since the age of 3. When I was 16 I found out that I needed to have open heart surgery. And there was a possibility that I might not ever be able to sing again if the breathing tubes hit my vocal chords the wrong way! The doctor only gave me 13 years to live if I didn't have the surgery, and I told him if I wasn't going to be able to sing again I would rather die in 13 years than to never be able to sing again. Singing is my life and without it, I wouldn't want to be here. So they took very good care of me, and I am able to sing, and I'm still continuing to follow my dream of becoming a Country Recording Artist.
