Garot Michael has been a BMI affiliated artist, composer and publisher for nearly 20 years. These recordings represent Garot Michael's first foray into the jazz genre as a solo Artist. When heard, a comparision is often made to the late Chet Baker who was also a ballad fanatic. The outstanding nature of this collection is in it's melodic phrasing. Uniting contagious melodies with innate jazz non-conformist improvisation instantly makes each composition identifiable and memorable. Recorded live, this collection has a totally organic and random vibe just as if you were listening from the audience of a supper club. To his credit, Garot Michael's compositions were featured on the MTV Real World/Road Rules Inferno Challenge during it's 2005-06 season and have been available worldwide through digital licensing and distribution.
