Hello Everyone and Welcome to my Official Showcase My Music Page! Im Wilfredo Rodriguez aka (gemrico). What inspired me into creating music was the salsa bands from Puerto Rico, my father was the promoter for the Aragon Ballroom, and The Congress Theatre on Chicago's north east side, where all the latino artists came to perform for concerts. They would stay at our house when they where in town, so it was a matter of time before i got into producing latin, hip hop, HOUSE, r&b, music tracks, and learning from the best was a great start for me as a preteen. What made me really get into House Music, was a radio station called WBMX, saturday night live ain't no jive chicago dance party. at the age of 14 yrs old i started mixing 12 inche vinyl records, and loved it ever since, from there i started producing my own tracks. I was born and raised in chicago ill, Puerto Rican decent, youngest of 10 siblings, I'm also a proud member of the UNITED STATES MARINE CORP, and currently a DISC JOCKEY for PREMIERE ENTERTAINMENT in Grand Rapids Mi, and CEO of UNLTD JAM PRODUCTIONS Music Studio & dj Entertainment co in Chicago Ill, established in 2005. and film editor and myspace page and website designer & manager for THE A LA VISTA SHOW in montebello california, i'm also a website designer for HOROSCOPE ENT. I'm the only band member, just me! i have backup singers that do there thing on my tracks as well, but mainly i do everything my self, from making the music, to creating my melodys, and then the idea! the music equitment i use is, the emx-1 music production station, the djx midi controller and dance keyboard, music software reason 3.0. pro tools, magix, cakewalk sonar, m-audio, technic turntables & c.d. decks, etc. i create all my music & hotmixes from scratch, hip hop, house, dance, latin, & r&b.
