IKE BROWN MIX TAPE COVER
  1. S.M.I.L.E.
  2. GOTTA GET IT
  3. LIKE THIS
  4. TOO DEEP IN THE GAME
Deuce music, was formed in 2005 as a subsidiary company to IN3 Entertainment, a multimedia company which specialized in local commercialization. Formed in 2003, IN3 was the first company in its area to offer the small town businesses of Frankfort, KY the ability to advertise on cable television. The idea was absorbed by the local multimedia conglomerate, but the vision of IN3 Entertainment has persevered in Deuce music.
Also known as “the Mo-town of the South,” Deuce Music is the brain-child of three motivated young men; Albert Brooks, Quincy Thurman, and George Wilson jr. Unsatisfied with the current state of the market, these individuals seek to get every label on the same page by giving the fans something worth their money. Devoted to the integrity of the industry, the promising artists involved posses the sound of things to come. Ranging lyrically from socially conscious topics to a night at the club, talent such as Ike Brown, Prime, and Young L.O.R.D. are names to watch for as their careers continue to unfold.
In September of 2006, Deuce music participated in the “Outwork Me, Can I Live?” tour with Crime Mobb and Dj Reflection. A major college tour through the south, shows kicked off in Greensboro, NC and ended in Jacksonville, FL. The label has worked in collaboration with labels such as Worksquad Music, Mindflux Music, Upstairs Studio, JY Entertainment, Blackout Entertainment, and Success Entertainment. Artists have opened for acts such as Cee-lo Greene, Too $hort, Busta Rhymes, Dem Franchize Boyz, Baby “D” of ( Oomp Camp), Nappy Roots, Akon, Trina, D4L, Clipse, and Young Joc. Deuce’s recording artists have also worked in conjunction with Wishmaster, Kay Gee of Naughty by Nature, Divine Mills, and Bone Crusher of So So Def to name a few.
With the opening of the label’s club, “The Underground,” in Lexington, KY, the future looks bright for Deuce Music. Ike Brown’s release “The Blackout” Volume 1, and Young L.O.R.D.’s album “The Conflict Theory” Volume 3, already boast a combined total distribution of over 30,000 copies. The impending release of their follow up albums when coupled with the mix tape 21, and Prime’s solo debut, show the dedication of these men to their craft. If you aren’t listening to Deuce, you aren’t listening.

"IKE BROWN"
Born with music in his heart and passion in his blood, Ike Brown was made to make music. Ike has been immersed in the music scene since his childhood days when he saved the money he made from his newspaper route to procure studio time. At age 15, he began to produce beats on a Boss Drum Machine and a Radio Shack synthesizer. The same year marked the formation of musical duo Bonafide Circle.

Born in McComb MS, and raised in Lexington, KY, Ike Brown continues to expand his musical horizons. In 1999 he completed university studies in music history and public speaking; then moved to Atlanta to work with Rob Jackson and Black Coffee before they signed with Arista and Motown Records respectively. From placing first in a musical showcase at age 8 to performing for Michael Jordan and Dave Chappelle at the Club Villa Fontana Kentucky Derby party in 2006, the sky is the limit for this talented young artist.

With over a decade of experience in the music industry, Ike has had the pleasure of working with artists such as Ceelo Green, Kay-Gee of Naughty by Nature, Nappy Roots, and Bone Crusher of So So Def/Arista Records. Ike’s stage presence has also gained notariaty, enabling him to open for artists such as David Banner, Akon, Young Bloodz, Juvenile, Young Wun, and Young Jeezy.

The hustle of Deuce Music has ushered in a new era of Ike Brown’s career. The distribution of over 15,000 units of his solo album “The Blackout,” and the success of his 36 city tour with DL4’s Fabo, Big Country Kane, Crime Mob, and Young L.O.R.D. have provided Ike Brown a with another stepping stone toward the realization of his aspirations. His reverence for the power of language when combined with his socially conscious attitude allows him to draw inspiration from the social injustices he encounters in his daily life. This lucid lyricist continues to challenge the social status quo, and should be viewed as the voice of a new generation of musicians.
