In March of 1976, in the small coastal town of
Porthcawl, South Wales 'Days of Grace' was formed.
The members of the band from 1977-1982 were:
Dave Evans…… Lead Vocals / Guitars
Roy Williams….. Bass / Taurus Bass Pedals / Guitars / vocals
Gerard “ Pixie “ Picton…… Keyboards
Nigel Megicks…. Guitars / Piano / vocals
Trevor Bourne….. Drums / Percussion
Influenced in the early days by , Genesis, the Moody Blues, Floyd, Yes, Mike Oldfield, 'Days of Grace were truely a Prog-Rock band.
But as the years progressed the band started to change direction , swaying more towards Pop-Rock.
The band enjoyed a modicum of success, with the release of 'Time stands still'c/w 'Lonely Boy' in Brazil and Italy.
Then in 1982 the band signed to D.J.M. and saw the release of 'My life’s in video' c/w '21stCentury' in the U.K. and Europe, sadly to disband later that same year.
