Brandon Lynn Shane knows country music. Whether he's performing for this fans, writing songs, or producing the latest indie country music artists, he conveys the heart and soul of country music. His music is modern and current, but he hasn't abandoned the sounds and traditions of country music to chase the latest fads.

Brandon was raised in Texas, which influenced him greatly. Not only did the Texas music sound affect the music he created, but he also learned about country music from his father, Bob, who played in a country music band. Brandon followed in his father's footsteps, performing in bands and touring the nation. He became a seasoned stage veteran touring with or opening for several artists and bands including the Colt band out of Dallas, TX, Johnny Bush, Tony Booth, Hank Thompson, David Frizzell and Shelly West, Johnny Rodriquez, Ray Price, Ernest Tubb, Darrell McCall, John Wesley Ryles, Restless Heart, Travis Tritt, Larry Butler, Mel McDaniels, The Mason Dixon Band, John Anderson, Steve Wariner, Kenny Dale, Tanya Tucker, Fiddlin Frenchie Burke, and Red Stegall. He even headlined at Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Brandon is a prolific songwriter, having written thousands of songs in various styles including country (traditional and new), Gospel, and western swing.

After winning the Tennessee Valley Vocalist of the Year award in 2002, Brandon decided to move to Nashville to focus on writing songs and producing indie country music artists. He regularly appears at writers venues like The Hall of Fame Club, The Sutlers, The French Quarter Café, and the Broken Spoke.

In the producing world, Brandon is one of the hottest indie country music producers today. His company, Mirror Image Productions, uses some of Nashville's Top “A List” session pickers to produce music that is as good as any major label product. Brandon knows how to bring the best out of the artists he produces. Artists he has produced include Darlene Marie McCoy, Melissa Cleveland, Nicole Nichols (Joe Nichols cousin), Jeff Smithart, Marie Hodson, and Natalie Logan.

One of the truly good guys in the music industry, Brandon is dedicated to sharing his experiences with new and indie artists. He gives the artists he produces sound, solid advice and is now passing that knowledge onto a larger audience. Currently, MIRROR IMAGE RECORDS is a “dead” label… meaning it’s sole purpose is utilized for artists in need of a label for airplay. Radio stations WILL NOT play artist solicitations without a registered label listed on their CD. (With the growth of INTERNET radio stations, and pressure from the three major licensing agencies, most of these stations require that the submissions show a label listed as well.)
Additionally, MIRROR IMAGE certifies that if the artist has recorded a “cover” tune, the proper mechanical rights have been secured on all “cover” material prior to solicitation/submission. MIRROR IMAGE will NOT promote unlicensed material!!

In late 2007, MIRROR IMAGE RECORDS will be accepting artists for the worldwide distribution of its “compilation” CD series. The series will continue in 2008 with 6 releases (one every two months). These “comp” CD’s will be distributed to roughly 300 am/fm stations that WILL play “indie” artist, as well as roughly 1000 internet stations.

MIRROR IMAGE PRODUCTIONS is a full service resource center for recording sessions. Each session is professionally produced by “indie” hit maker Brandon Lynn Shane, a 35 year veteran in the music industry!
ARTIST SESSIONS: If the artist writes their own material, each song is carefully reviewed for it’s marketability. If the artist is NOT a writer, or doesn’t have material, we put the artist out to top writers in the country. We receive solicitations DAILY and carefully work with each artist to insure that each song is within the vocal capability of the artist, and that the artist can “relate” to the material they are recording!!
Once the song selection has been made, a basic arrangement is done to lay out the ground work for the first segment of recording. After completion of the rhythm section tracks, the appropriate instruments are added. Then the artist is brought in to lay the master vocal tracks. Once that is completed, backup vocals are added. When all of the tracks have been completed, the session goes into mixing, which takes 7-10 days. From there it heads to mastering, which takes an additional week or so to complete. From start to finish, the entire project usually take 2 months to complete!!!!!
WRITER DEMO SESSIONS: We offer a wide range of demo’s for writers and can fit almost any budget. From simple acoustic demo’s with a male or female vocal (with or without b/u vocals) to full blown instrumentation, we have what it takes to make YOUR song acceptable for solicitation to ANYONE on music row!!
