My friends and I laugh because I constantly tell them I was born in the wrong era, musically, that is. I would rather listen to Ella Fitzgerald than Gwen Stefani anyday. I would rather listen to Nat King Cole than Snoop Dog every single time. When I made this CD I asked my brother to listen to it. He was amazed that I "learned" all the songs. He said, "you sound so familiar with the songs." I told him I already knew them all because they are some of my favorites. Some have sentimental meaning, others I just like the way they sound. I love this era of music so much. It takes me back to when there was "happy music" sometimes with a bluesy twist. I certainly hope it takes you back and makes you feel good too.
