I call it House of dread: Butoyi
I have been into reggae for far over 20 years
At age 18 i started to dj in a local youthclub
Also at session in that time i started experimenting with my voice.
seen , improvisations over the live music played.
As i moved to another town(eindhoven)
I linked up with more reggae lovers
And started sing at weekly rehearsals.
To good effect, more people started notice me , and in the following years i played in several reggaebands.
To name a few Bob Marley tribute, Dubsensitive, Richard and the reggae's,Intervention, Majestic Roots
At reggae venues like reggae Geel, I like to sing pon the campsite soundsystems, and so i got know a lot of sounds, from the benelux.
Also at summerjam, where i sung together with Nightlife from Jamaica living in Germany, people like Klarbauterman, and more.
At reggaesundance at the third year, i was dubbed mc of the campsite tent vibes.
I linked up with Jamaican Jukebox. The owner of a cafe in eindhoven: le beat international, invitated me,which lead me to play reggae there, and it lead to more sessions.
I started mc and singjay weekly at le beat international
Thats where i linked crucialsound Jep and Niels
They asked me to be their mc and so Crucial sounds got a mc.
I was invited by some peeps in Eindhoven to join a band we later called: Intervention.
I was one of the singers.
And wrote song like water flow from tap
Now i host mc, dj, sing, singjay
the band now has a new name, B-One
