This is a band whose triumphs and tribulations have made us what we are. We've been through alot together. Music is our life. We formed this group in 2002, which was consisting of only four people until 2005 when Keith joined. Also we have been blessed to open for very popular music artists such as Trina, Too Short, David Banner, Lil Flip, G-Unit, etc., basically people in the Rap/HipHop genre. We're, fresh, true, and through our music is our truths. This is Blaze1.......

We are a group of guys from different walks of life now residing in the MidWest.We are very serious about our music careers.and someday hope to get sign to a major record deal.

We teamed up in 2002 Keith came in 2005

What would you say would be Blaze 1's biggest achievement so far?
Blaze 1 biggest achievement so far is being opening act for some very well known rap artist such as David Banner,G unit,Too Short,Lil Flip Just to name a few.

What are your aims for the future?
Our aim as a group is to put our hometown Sioux City,Iowa on the map.Come from the bottom and make it to the top. Music.

Keith fav.music influences is Twista,E 40,Trell's fav.music is rap.his infuences are UGK,MJG,Drew fav.album is do or die,his influences are ludacris,bone thugs.Shuns fav.album is it was written, anthony fav album is americaz nightmare and his influences are mobb deep & t.i

Anthony forgot a word or 2,Shaun stumbled on stage ,Keith Fumbled over some lyrics to a song

Anthony,Win or Lose by Mobb Deep(Why) because thru life i have learned that you will go thru some things and have some losses but no matter what you cant give up go hard each and every day.
Trell- Tupac Only God Can Judge Me(Why) Because i feel a lot of people judge others but theres only one judge in the end
Shaun-Nas If heaven was a mile away (Why)Because he touched a lot of serious topics
Keith-Twista Hopeful(Why) Because the song explains the current world we live in

Drew, Double space big letters, Keith, I write according to my thoughts, My Imagination. Trell ,Freestyle, Shaun-I Go with whatever i feel to that certain beat

Are there any bands/artists on overplay that have impressed you?
All the guys said they listen to some of the artist but gave no comment.

Have you a piece of advice/tip you could give to an unsigned band?
ALL THE GUYS SAID TO PROMOTE YOUR MUSIC, GET INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY, KEEP STRIVING FOR YOUR DREAM AND DONT LET ANYONE HOLD YOU BACK,FOCUS ON YOUR GOALS.DONT STOP WHAT YOU DOING UNTILL ITS DONE,GET YOUR DEMOS OUT.
