The name F.A.M (F)orever (A)bout (M)usic was created for the group because it is a perfect fit for a group of friends, all with the same passion for music that met and became if not closer, than just as close as family. F.A.M Group members; Lex, Bless, and Solo are a diverse group of young talented MCs with origins from South River, NJ, and Edison, NJ, who met through close friends and united to form the group. Trials and tribulations of their lives in which they all shared similar circumstances, as well as their experiences growing up in New Jersey, has influenced F.A.M’s music. Not your average rap group with the same sound, and messages of false pretense. F.A.M is committed to only making real music which will let you mentally envision the things they’ve been through by only listening, while also entertaining the crowd performed for with hot beats and relevant lyrics. F.A.M has performed at local clubs, as well as open mics and private parties of crowds ranging from 50 to 1000 people. They have grown to become the local crowd’s favorite group on the streets, as well as in the local clubs and bars. Their first mix tape Garden Greats was released to the local public on Feb. 5th of 2006, Since then F.A.M has released multiple mix tapes and has performed in Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, and all over New Jersey in some of the hottest showcases. F.A.M won first place in many of their showcases and have performed in front of DJ Red Alert and Du love as well as AnR’s for some of the top record labels, such as G-Unit Records, Koch Records, and Violator Records. F.A.M will continue to be one of New Jersey’s local top Hip-Hop acts, with songs crafted with creativity, and balance. F.A.M has already developed into a local crowd favorite; now, they’re ready to build nation-wide.
